Quality assurance and university performance

The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance is one of the principal departments at the university, playing a pivotal role in embedding a culture of quality and academic accreditation, promoting institutional excellence by monitoring the implementation of quality and accreditation standards, evaluating institutional and academic performance, and executing training and awareness programs aimed at performance development.

The department also contributes to elevating the quality of educational outcomes, supporting the university's participation in global rankings, and improving institutional performance indicators through data analysis, performance metric measurement, and leveraging feedback in continuous improvement processes.

Additionally, it works on embedding the principles of sustainability, promoting a culture of occupational health and safety, and rationalizing resource utilization, thereby supporting the achievement of the university's strategic goals and enhancing the efficiency of institutional performance.

First: Accreditation Division

• Academic Accreditation Follow-up: Coordinating with faculties and scientific departments to monitor the implementation of institutional and programmatic accreditation standards and fulfill their requirements.
• Global Rankings: Supporting the university's participation in global university rankings and working to improve relevant performance indicators.

Second: Quality Assurance Division

• Spreading Quality Culture: Preparing and implementing training programs, seminars, and workshops aimed at spreading the culture of quality assurance and academic accreditation.
• Strategic Planning: Proposing the formation of committees and task forces, and following up on the implementation of quality and continuous improvement plans.
• Professional Development: Organizing specialized training courses and workshops in the fields of quality, accreditation, and institutional performance development.
• Occupational Health and Safety: Promoting a culture of occupational health and safety, disseminating sound workplace practices, and rationalizing energy and resource consumption.
• Exchange of Expertise: Promoting cooperation and participation in scientific and administrative activities, and exchanging expertise with relevant academic institutions.
• Supporting Sustainability: Embedding the principles of sustainable development and encouraging the optimal use of resources, in alignment with sustainable development goals.

Third: Institutional Performance Evaluation Unit (Affiliated with the Quality Assurance Division)

• Performance Evaluation: Supervising the performance evaluation processes of faculty members and staff, and analyzing their results to support institutional performance improvement.
• Continuous Improvement: Preparing questionnaires, analyzing their results, and raising the necessary recommendations to develop performance and improve service quality.
