1. To enhance the institution's communication and showcase the university and its affiliated departments in a positive light through news coverage and other public relations activities.


2. To foster openness with media outlets and government agencies, thereby strengthening the university's standing in the community.


3. To receive and accompany university delegations when their stay is required, or to accompany them on inspection tours or field visits.


4. To create a positive and favorable impression of the university among the public.


5. To publish announcements from the university and its affiliated departments.


6. To raise awareness among staff about the university's objectives and to continuously develop this awareness.


7. To uphold university protocol in receiving and honoring guests.


8. To issue congratulatory and condolence banners for official and community events and obituaries.


9. To issue congratulatory messages from the university president to institutions and individuals on official occasions.


10. To participate in protocol, reception, and media committees for events organized by the university, such as scientific conferences, graduation ceremonies, and other occasions. 11. Complete the ministerial form (related to psychological and media operations) for each Iraqi university and resubmit it to the designated ministerial group.


12. Manage public relations with ministerial committees and receive visiting delegations at the university in a manner appropriate to the university's size and in accordance with the established etiquette for official delegations.


13. Issue official invitations to relevant companies and departments when a university activity requires invitations and distribute them to the invited parties.


14. Receive feedback and opinions from staff, students, and their families via social media and work to resolve their issues by forwarding them to higher authorities. Also, provide 24-hour online support for inquiries submitted through the university's official pages.


15. Promote announcements related to the Ministry, which are posted daily on the Ministry of Higher Education's Media Department group. 16. The department monitors all media outlets and their publications concerning the university, presenting them to the university president for review and potential response if necessary.


17. Engaging with the community and meeting its needs for accurate information, facts, and statistics.


18. Monitoring public opinion trends regarding the university's various activities and achievements.


19. Submitting monthly activity reports for the university and its constituent colleges (in advance) to the Public Relations Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education, which then forwards them to the Public Relations Department of the Council of Ministers.


20. Promoting and marketing the electronic programs adopted by the ministry to the university community and students.


21. Marketing and promoting applications for evening studies at the university's colleges.


22. Managing crises by developing crisis management plans to address any issues that may affect the reputation of the university and its constituent colleges, providing rapid and effective responses in emergencies, and refuting all malicious rumors aimed at harming the university and its constituent colleges.


23. Designing daily activity announcements for the university and its constituent colleges.
