The division is responsible for preparing and organizing contracts concluded by the university with various entities, whether for supplies, services, or construction, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. It also reviews the legal wording of contracts to ensure they are error-free and protect the university's rights. The division contributes to oversight and transparency in contracting, ensuring sound management of public funds and compliance with applicable legislation.
🎯 Division Tasks:
1. Preparing and organizing contracts concluded by the university (supplies, services, construction) in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Reviewing and drafting contracts from a legal perspective to guarantee the protection of the university's rights.
3. Organizing contracting procedures, including preparing tender documents and announcements.
4. Monitoring the work of bid opening and analysis committees and ensuring the integrity of procedures.
5. Reviewing bids submitted by companies and ensuring they meet legal and technical requirements. 6. Preparing draft referral orders and submitting them to the relevant authorities for approval.
7. Maintaining and archiving contracts and related records in an organized manner.
8. Monitoring contract implementation and ensuring contractors' compliance with terms and specifications.
9. Monitoring instances of contract breach or delay and taking appropriate legal action.
10. Providing legal opinions and advice on contractual matters within the university.
11. Coordinating with other departments (legal, financial, and technical) to ensure the integrity of procedures.
12. Preparing periodic reports on contract activity and submitting them to the university president.
